Guava Rose Quartz is a variety of quartz (SiO₂) that combines the characteristics of conventional Rose Quartz with more saturated and reddish tones, reminiscent of the pulp of the red guava. Its color results from the simultaneous presence of inclusions of dumortierite or submicroscopic rutile fibers — responsible for the base pink — and traces of hematite (Fe₂O₃) that intensify the pigmentation towards the characteristic pinkish-reddish tones. It forms in granitic pegmatites and hydrothermal veins, where silica-rich solutions crystallize in contact with minerals bearing titanium and iron. The proportion and distribution of these minerals included during crystalline growth determine the intensity and uniformity of the color, which may vary between specimens from the same batch. Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale. Density: 2.65 g/cm³. Crystalline system: trigonal. Available variations, approximate data: 1 to 3 cm — Approx. 0.010 kg — 250 pcs per kg 3 to 6 cm — 0.030 to 0.150 kg — 30 pieces per kg 6 to 15 cm — 0.150 to 0.800 kg — 2 to 3 pieces per kg
