Guava Quartz is a variety of quartz (SiO₂) whose reddish-pink to intense pink color, reminiscent of the pulp of the fruit that gives it its name, results from the presence of hematite (Fe₂O₃) or dumortierite inclusions dispersed in the silica matrix during crystalline growth. It forms in granite pegmatites and hydrothermal veins, in the same typical environments as other varieties of quartz. The characteristic tone is distinguished from conventional Rose Quartz by its greater saturation and tendency to reddish, reflecting a greater concentration or specific type of ferrous inclusions in the structure. The irregular distribution of these inclusions can generate variations in color intensity between different specimens of the same batch. Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale. Density: 2.65 g/cm³. Crystalline system: trigonal. Available variations, approximate data: 1 to 3 cm — Approx. 0.010 kg — 250 pcs per kg 3 to 6 cm — 0.030 to 0.150 kg — 30 pieces per kg 6 to 15 cm — 0.150 to 0.800 kg — 2 to 3 pieces per kg
