Natural Blue Quartz with Metal Base — Rough Blue Quartz is a variety of quartz (SiO₂) whose blue to blue-gray color results from the presence of inclusions of minerals such as dumortierite, riebeckite or rutile, incorporated into the silica matrix during crystalline growth. The tone and intensity of the color vary depending on the type, concentration and distribution of these inclusions in the structure. Its formation occurs in pegmatites, hydrothermal veins and metamorphic rocks, where solutions rich in silica slowly crystallize in contact with secondary minerals rich in aluminum or sodium, responsible for the characteristic bluish pigmentation. Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale. Density: 2.65 g/cm³. Crystalline system: trigonal. The product is sold with a metal base included, ready for display. The measurements and weight stated refer to the complete product (crystal + base). Available variations, approximate data: Weight: 0.150 to 0.600 kg (approx.) Dimensions: 9x4x4 cm to 15x8x8 cm (approx.)
