Natural Crystal — Rough

Natural Crystal, also called Hyaline Quartz, is the purest form of quartz (SiO₂). Its characteristic transparency results from the absence of inclusions, impurities or significant structural defects during the crystallization process, allowing the uniform passage of visible light. Its formation occurs predominantly in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites, where supersaturated aqueous solutions in silica fill cavities and rock fractures, slowly crystallizing under conditions of stable temperature and pressure. The slower and more controlled the crystalline growth, the greater the transparency and definition of the crystal faces. Hardness: 7 on the Mohs scale. Density: 2.65 g/cm³.
