Crystal — Rolado

Natural Crystal, also called Hyaline Quartz, is the purest form of quartz (SiO₂). Its characteristic transparency results from the absence of inclusions, impurities or significant structural defects during the crystallization process, allowing the uniform passage of visible light. Its formation occurs predominantly in hydrothermal veins and pegmatites, where supersaturated aqueous solutions in silica fill cavities and rock fractures, slowly crystallizing under conditions of stable temperature and pressure. The mechanical rolling process progressively rounds the ends and corners of the pieces, resulting in a smoothed external profile that preserves the internal crystalline structure.
